Use the Campaign Builder to Send an Drip Campaign in PestPac

Creating an Drip Campaign in PestPac consists of choosing a Campaign type, who to send it to, where the campaign should be sent from, the content of the campaign and the sequence the content should be sent in. Portions of a campaign can be added in any order, and a campaign can be saved before being sent.

 

To Create an drip campaign in PestPac

 

Click Menu --> Sales & Marketing --> Dashboard

 

 

Click “Create Campaign”

 

 

In the pop-up, enter a name for your campaign, choose the type “Drip,” then click “OK.”

 

 

You are taken to the Campaign Setup screen. From here, you can rename the campaign by clicking the pencil icon.

 

You can also click “Finish Later” to save the campaign and return to it later.

 

 

Enter Recipients for your Campaign

 

The “To” Section of the Campaign Setup screen allows you to pick a list of recipients for your email content. To pick a list, click “Add Recipients.”

 

 

In the popup, choose either a Marketing List or a PestPac list. You can type in the name of a list to search the available lists.

 

 

Click OK make your selection.

 

 

The “To” section is now completed. Click the “Edit Recipients” button to choose a different list if needed.

 

 

Define the Sender of the Campaign

 

The “From” section of the Campaign Setup screen allows you to control how the email content is received by the recipient. To choose the sender, click “Add From.”

 

Available options allow users to enter the Name that appears as the sender.

 

 

You can also select the sender’s email address, and where replies to the email should be sent to from a dropdown box of employee email addresses.

 

 

*This setting requires domain authentication enabled with WorkWave. Emails will be sent from “Support@ContactUs.com” if not enabled.

 

Click “Save” to confirm your selections.

 

 

The “From” section is now completed. Click the “Edit From” button to choose a different list if needed.

 

 

Select the Email Content

 

The “Content” section of the Campaign Setup screen is where you build steps of what email to send and when. To begin, click “Add Content.”

 

 

Then click “Add Step.”

 

 

In the popup, give the step a name, and choose how long the campaign should wait before sending the content. Time can be defined in minutes, hours, days, weeks, or months. In the dropdown box, choose the email template to send in the campaign. Click “OK” to save the step.

 



 

 

 

Click the eye icon to view a popup of the email template.

 

 

Click the pencil icon to edit the step.

 

 

Click the trashcan icon to delete the step.

 

 

Click “Save” to confirm your selections.

 

 

The “Content” section is now completed. Click the “Edit Content” button to choose a different list if needed.

 

 

Insert a Trackable Phone Number

 

The “Optional Phone Tracking” section of the Campaign Setup screen is where you can insert a trackable phone number into your email template. The template must contain the replacement code @@PHONE@@ for this feature to be enabled.  To select a trackable number, click the “Add Tracking” button.

 

 

Click the search box to enter an area code and see available local numbers.

 

 

Select a number and click “OK” to add it to your campaign.

 

 

Check the box to have a “call is being recorded” message play to callers before connecting.

 

 

Enter the destination number where the call will forward to in the text box.

 

 

Click “Save” to confirm your selections.

 

 

The “Optional Phone Tracking” section is now completed. Click the “Edit Tracking” button to choose a different list if needed.
 

 

Sending your campaign

 

After the “To,” “From,” and “Content” sections of the Campaign Setup screen are confirmed, the campaign can be launched.

 

Choose “Schedule” to send the campaign at a later time.

 

 

In the popup, choose the date and time for sending and click “Schedule Email” to confirm.

 

 

Choose “Send” to have the campaign begin immediately.

 

 

In the popup, choose “OK” to begin the campaign.
